Last week I met Lori and Trip for a sunset session at Lake Grapevine. Unfortunately, the park we planned to meet at was closed due to the government shut down. That definitely gave me a small dose of the effect it is having on this nation. The lady guarding the gate was very sad to be out of work and said there was a stiff fine if you trespassed. The thought did cross my mind as we were losing sunlight but luckily Lori and Trip were flexible and we were able to shoot at spot that was even better! Lori and Trip are getting married in the Dominican Republic next spring and I wish we could join because I imagine the sunsets there are even better!
