Seventy-eight degrees and blue skies — weather doesn’t get much more perfect than that in Texas. Brandon and Leslie had friends and family in from all over the US and I think the visitors were more than pleased to stay at the Gaylord Texan Resort where they were able to soak up the rays poolside and then head over to the Relâche Spa to relax and rejuvenate.
One of the benefits to having two photographers is that we are able to divide and conquer and tell the full story of the day from both the bride’s and groom’s prospective. I thought it was really neat to go through the images and see exact times of the day when both Brandon and Leslie were full of joy and laughter in separate hotel rooms!
Brandon and Leslie didn’t want to see each other before the wedding, but loved the idea of talking and holding each other’s hand for a few minutes before Leslie made her grand entrance! Although we love “first looks” the anticipation of wanting to just peak around the corner is just as sweet.
The two exchanged vows and letters they had written each other as the sun set behind them at Paradise Cove on Lake Grapevine leaving very few dry eyes…including my own… but we’ll just say mine was just due to allergies:) The sunset came just in time for a few romantic pictures before they kicked off their party!
Lovely wedding photography guys – you missed nothing – beautiful lighting!
