Last weekend Jordan and Zach celebrated a gorgeous fall wedding in Driftwood at Pecan Grove—one of Salt Lick BBQ’s Hill Country event spaces. If you have ever eaten at Salt Lick BBQ, you know that when we booked this wedding we made sure that a vendor meal was included:) We try to make it to the Austin area any chance we get and Pecan Grove is a perfect laid-back setting, just south of Austin, for an outdoor wedding.
Even though they were a bit hesitant at first, Jordan and Zach opted to do a first-look so we could take some formal shots before their sunset ceremony. Just like all of our other couples who have chosen to go the less traditional route, they were relieved by their decision. I believe their bridal party was thankful too, since they got to go enjoy the cocktail hour! To me the sound of water flowing through a creek is such a serene and peaceful soundtrack. So the creek running behind their amazing arbor and a glorious golden sunset that lit the bride and groom’s glowing faces was a perfect setting for an emotional ceremony.
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Jasnocha! We wish you both a lifetime of happiness!
I am so blessed to have such a wonderful son and that he picked such a wonderful lady. The wedding was so beautiful….My cup runneth over …
