Looking at the photos from you One Year Milestones Portraits, you will be asking, “Where did that little baby I brought home in my arms go??” As a parent, the first year in your child’s life can be one of the longest and shortest years. It’s the perfect time to press “pause” for a One Year Milestones Portraits. Whether it be at your home, a favorite local park, or even the zoo, choose a location for the session that will help tell your child’s story. Feel free to end the session with a classic cake smash!

• Should I have the rest of the family at the session?  Of course!  We will focus on your one year old and capturing all the new, fun milestones that they are showing off, but we will also get plenty of photos of the whole family.
• How should I prepare for the portrait session?  We will be focusing on your one year old kiddo and trying to document their personality and how they interact with their surroundings.  Choose a scene, whether it’s at home, a favorite playground, or their favorite park where we can see them be themselves!
• What if we can’t find a date that works when my child just turns one?  A couple weeks before or after will still work to capture all the magic of this age!
• Can we end with a “cake smash”?  Or course!  We will save it for the end so they can get as messy as they want without worrying about other photos.
