Have we mentioned how much we love referrals?!? We have been fortunate to document three couples from this bridal party, so you may recognize Jennifer and Garrett from past weddings. The best gift we can receive from our couples is free and we are so thankful for pleased clients who spread the love. As Dallas husband and wife wedding photographers, we treat each wedding with as much respect. This day represents the start of two lives becoming one. Friends and families from both sides now have a common bond in the love between the newlyweds. Having the responsibility and honor to tell their story with our wedding photography, we feel as much part of this union as life-long friends.
We knew we were in for a great Dallas wedding when we looked at the forecast and it was a downright chilly 78 degrees— a dream come true for a summer wedding in Texas! I met Jennifer with her bridal party at the Mary Kay Grand Suite in the Hilton Anatole Dallas to capture the sweet moment of her dad seeing her for the first time. This moment between a father and his daughter is one of my favorites and we always recommend it if the day’s timeline allows. Jennifer had some gorgeous details to compliment her bridal glow— champagne heals, navy bridal party dresses from Nordstrom, lace from her mothers dress, and a bouquet highlighted by soft pastels and succulents that perfectly complimented her classic style.
Another great aspect of being a husband and wife wedding photography team, is that while I was with Jennifer at the Hilton Anatole, Joey was across town with the guys at University Parks United Methodist Church. Everyone was in high spirits and ready to enjoy this special union!
University Park United Methodist Church provides a classic atmosphere for Dallas weddings; with large chandeliers, wooden accents, and beautiful stained-glass windows.
This darling couple joined their love, lives, families, and friends in a beautiful ceremony and we are so happy to have documented it! Many blessings for years to come Mr. & Mrs. Phillips!
