If you missed our post from Paula and JD’s engagement session, be sure to check out their All-American love story. The couple and most of their bridal party grew up going to camp and being staffers at Camp Crucis in Granbury; so what better place to have their Granbury wedding than where their foundation was built at the Chapel of St John’s at Camp Crucis. Although it was a bit grey outside, Paula’s and JD’s love for each other was bright enough to light an entire room.
I love how dapper the guys looked in their navy blue sports coats, plaid shirts, khaki pants and boots. These guys put those boots to good use on the dance floor too!
It is so nice to work with coordinators that value the photographer’s time and the investment the couple has made to best document their big day! With the help of their wedding coordinator, Heidi Beth and crew at Something-Blue Weddings, Paula and JD’s Wedding was carefree and fancy free! Elegance with Attitude floral designs brought sunshine to this rainy day—brightening the Granbury Conference Center with yellow and white floral arrangements. These daisy and babies breath arrangements were simple, yet elegant; perfect for a summer wedding. Oh, and I have said it before, but Ruth Robbins with Tastefully Yours designs beautiful cakes that taste even better than they look…SERIOUSLY, the best I have ever had.
When the DJ keeps the dance floor packed all night there is never a dull moment on the dance floor. As always, Justin with Impact Your Event, was spinning beats that kept everyone on their feet!
Be sure to check out Paula and JD’s highlight video Coleman Anderson!
We can’t wait to come visit the Abbotts in Pensacola soon!
