Proposals are one of my favorite things to photograph. I love the authentic emotion shared by all involved parties. The anticipation of the man who is about to proclaim his love to his soulmate, best friend, and woman of his dreams. The genuine and raw emotion of a ecstatic bride after being proposed to and the relief of the friends who helped scheme. Liam proposed to Victoria at their favorite restaurant, Cacharel. Many anniversaries, Christmas dinners and other family occasions have been shared here and I can see why—the food was amazing and the service was impeccable. Since this was a place for them to go for big occasions when their friends asked them to dinner to tell them some “big news” Victoria didn’t think twice about accepting the invitation nor did she suspect a proposal. Victoria justified her surprise by the fact that her hair was in a pony tail and her nails weren’t done. Let’s face it every girl out there would say the same thing! I love LOVE and being part of a journey with a couple documenting moments to share with friends and family that may otherwise be forgotten due to the heightened sense of emotions.
