Austin is becoming more of a second home to us.  Between our family and clients, we are racking up some serious frequent driver miles on I-35!  Mariel and I love the Dallas metroplex, but Austin has a unique vibe and music scene that we crave every once in a while.  We met up with the Wilson family a couple of weeks ago so we could mix some business with pleasure on our latest trip down I-35.

For the last couple of weeks, Texas has seen some amazing weather with highs in the 60s and 70s, so I was a little surprised with the crisp chill in the air that morning.  Soon-to-be older brother didn’t mind the cold as he dominated the playground at Memorial Park in Round Rock.  After catching some of his youthful joy, we were able to focus on Sarah for some maternity photos. She definitely had that glow as she nears her due date for the newest addition to the family.  **BREAKING NEWS**  Sarah went into labor yesterday and delivered a cute little girl!

As with any session with children, you have to find ways to keep them entertained without them thinking they are “working” at a portrait session.  In addition to the playground, Memorial Park was the home of several ducks, geese, and other wildlife.  The ducks kept their little boy happy just long enough to finish the portrait session.  A big thanks to the Wilson family for allowing us into your lives!
