During an average wedding, we are with the bride and groom for about 6-8 hours.  Mariel and I spend more time with them than anyone else will on their big day!  That being said, we feel it’s imperative that the bride and groom know how we work and that they are comfortable with sharing their intimate moments with us behind the camera.  Engagement sessions allow for this bond to form between photographer and client with a byproduct being incredible images that capture the couple’s emotions.

We first met Jenn and Christian last summer at a bridal expo and followed it up with a consultation where we could discuss the details of the wedding.  Even though the wedding was over a year out, Jenn wanted to schedule a photographer that she trusted, so she and Christian started their search early.  I love it when you meet a couple and feel an immediate connection.

Our session started at The Cedars Social in Dallas.  The decor seemed like it came straight out of Mad Men and the warmth of the sun coming in the floor-to-ceiling windows bathed Jenn and Christian with beautiful light.  The entire session showcased love, fun, and ease.
